RP: With Villiers

Today has been a very busy day for Le Chiffre. For a start, he had to get up, which is an incredible amount of effort, and now he's relocated himself to the largest couch by the television and is lounging very successfully. Being dead is so difficult sometimes ( Read more... )

Villiers, just a little bit aways, fusses over the last of their laundry at an ironing board. Which, much to his amusement, is just as monochrome as the rest of the room. As are the shirts he just finished ironing, and the trousers he's hanging.

"Why don't you put something halfway decent on?" he asks after the nth pointless explosion. Really, he's dealt with that sort of thing enough in his day-job that he really doesn't need to see more random acts of violence.

"Because.. this is entertaining," he replies distractedly, glancing over at Villiers between fights, explodey things and car chases. Mostly, Le Chiffre's taste in movies is decent enough, but there's just times when he needs some mindless action flick to zone out to.

The fact that Villiers is doing house work doesn't seem to register with the banker.

"Really," he drawls, hanging up the last shirt. He leaves them where they are; he'll go and actually put them away when there's something other than the nonsense he's been listening to for the...well, morning, really.

Villiers shakes his head, wandering over to just beside Le Chiffre, cocking his head at the TV. And winces, as several people get shot. "And you own all this expensive equipment, just for...this," he says, a marked tone of distaste evident, as well as an eyebrow arch as he looks down at Le Chiffre.

Le Chiffre looks truly offended for a moment, but from the reply he gives, it's obvious enough it's well-acted and not at all genuine, "Are you suggesting this truly masterful piece of cinematography isn't up your standard?"

He hasn't taken his eyes off the screen though because there's a guy on fire, flailing around and screaming in agony. Stunt-man or not, that's still a fun sight to see. Le Chiffre wishes he had a flamethrower, but Bar probably wouldn't let him have one even if he asked nice.
