On Sunday, the 40th anniversary of Stonewall, Fort Worth police raided a newly-opened gay club called the Rainbow Lounge and arrested seven people for public intoxication. I don't want to be reactionary and jump to conclusions or defame anyone either, but this definitely seems suspect to me. I think the police or city council made a statement saying there would be a review or investigation of the incident. I hope it's a thorough one that includes the accounts of people at the bar.
