You and I have a love hate relationship right now. Your writing reminds me of my best friend's. And since she moved thousands of miles away (DAMN HER HUSBAND FOR CHOOSING TO BE IN THE AIRFORCE! But I am totally proud of him), it hurts. If this were not a romantic story, she would be Jensen, and I would be a writer!Jared. But this is romance, and I loved it because it didn't smack me in the face on choke me on pathetic cliches. It was real life romance. The kind where you hit 25, fall in love, and kiss the person in a hugely jealous moment. And it either works or doesn't.

After reading your work, I think we should be friends. I am not one for making new friends (I feel awkward, and really I have my bff, my roommates, and my cat. I should be fine!), but I feel I could make an exception for someone who writes as well as you do. Your metaphors make me smile. As do the way you perfectly capture Jensen and Jared. It's amazing. I am sending you virtual pie as an offering.
