Food Challenge

Jun 10, 2006 03:55

This is for the food challenge.  Nine-year-old Pervinca, nine-year-old Estella, and four-year-old Pippin and fifteen-year-old Nell (Pimpernel).  Stand back, this one gets slightly messy.

Not my characters, all are J.R.R. Tolkien's.  I am just messing about with them for a bit.  No harm done, really.

“An Extra Helping”

“He will not!” ( Read more... )

estella, pimpernel, pervinca, pippin

*LOL*
Oh my, that is something to wake up to!

It seems I'm not the only one writing Vinca mostly as "the mean sister" :) Pippin really must have a strong stomach if he keeps all this stuff down she's feeding him.

"Not sharp tools,” he said, shaking his head sadly.

Go, Pippin! :D

I like to write the relationship between Pervinca and Pippin as a bit rocky when they were small. I think there must have been some jealousy there and with both of them being a bit mischievous I should think there were lots of tricks played. LOL

Glad you liked it and thanks for reading.

That's just how I see it. Pervinca and Pippin as kind of rivals in childhood but close friends as they grew older. If you're interested in "my" view of Vinca you might want to read this ficlet, Times and Troubles where she looks back on her relationship to Pippin during the Troubles.

He certainly is watching. Little ones are always watching and listening when you least expect it. Glad you enjoyed it!

You are quite welcome. I am sure that he knew exactly what he was doing. It was Pervinca that didn't have a clue this time.
