You guys are making me so nervous with your TRSI posts. I have until midnight Monday, right? I don't need to order RIGHT NOW?
I'm still wavering over the DVDs. My frugal self says I didn't want the One Piece and Tutu DVDs before and a bargain on something you didn't plan to buy in the first place is no bargain at all. (Bride's Story is a no-brainer. But then I have to beef up the order to get free shipping. So it's either the DVDs or BL prereleases.)
Also, WOW. Look at everything you got for only $278. Chicklet, I spent $400+ on manga last month! (Also, all for me. I do sometimes feel awkward about that during this season of giving.)
Yes. But I had pretty much already made my decision on what I wanted to buy, and was just waiting to see if there was anything in today's sale that I would want to add. And since I already got burned with Special A, I wanted to make sure I got everything else I wanted.

I know, it IS a lot. I'm looking forward to watching this stuff and it will last me a long time. I don't regret my purchases or anything, just...wish I had planned a little better for it. Now that I'm getting back into anime, I think I need to try to keep some extra money in the budget for random sales and things. :/
My damage: $411.00.... unless you count Utena and Nana (and I think Nana at least should count), which means $569.35. And I didn't even count the hi-chews I bought to pad my order for Utena 3. I didn't even count the hi-chews!!! Kill me now. No! Wait, let me watch some of this crap first!
You technologically advanced person you. I am determined to remain content with my VHS copies.
...Although once I unpack, I am going to research how to copy things from my LDs to my computer. I really don't want to buy all of CCS again in a new format.
Don't you have YYH on LD, too? Or at least half of it--seems like I remember you only bought the first and last boxes. (I'm hoping I'll like the middle better now that I'll actually understand what the hell is going on, but we'll see, I guess.)
Also, be glad that you're happy having CCS on LD, because it is a pain and a half trying to get on DVD now, and I'm totally missing the last five or six volumes. :/

Yes, I should have the first and last boxes somewhere in my storage room. I reasoned at the time I bought them that those were the parts worth watching anyway. The middle is what I only have on VHS.
No, $100 IS the sale price. The regular price is $200. So if you want my advice: if you're at all interested in buying it, do it now (sale lasts until midnight).

Nor that it was on sale.
Now it's back to the reg price of $100!
Hmmmm,
Read or Die (R.O.D.) The Complete Blu-Ray Box
or
Recording The Beatles: The Studio Equipment and Techniques Used To Create Their Classic Albums.
Both are $100.00-ish.
Decisions. Decisions.

However the sale price is still $100.00 as of Dec 18. This is the longest 11:59 PM in history! ;p
But seriously , how long will the sale last?
