I've been friended by two three different Russian accounts, neither of whom I've ever heard of and both of whom type solely in Cyrillic.

If anyone else is having this issue - although you can't stop an account from friending you, you can report a suspected bot using this form

You can also just hover over their user pic and in the pop-up window you'll see on the form where you can check the boxes to do the same thing.

Hrm... I don't seem to be able to do that. What browser do you use?

I use Firefox, but at work I sometimes use IE and it works there too. For a while one of the coms I co-mod was having the same trouble with spambots which is why I worked out the easy way to ban them.

So... you don't get a white pop-up window when you hover over anyone's user pic? I thought it became a standard feature several releases ago.
