I'm glad you brought up the baby question, because it prompted me to think of how we are going to handle it. Our reception site has a back room that is small and it has a plasma TV in it (we are holding it at a restaurant/bar in downtown Seattle). The back room is totally contained and is right next to the bathrooms. We're going to hire a few babysitters (adults, from a nanny service) and set that room up as a kids' party room - kids' movies, kids' food, etc. The kids will be welcome to come out to the main reception as well, but we're hoping that having their own party will allow their parents to have fun.
I stayed at the Port Orleans Riverside in Disney a couple of years ago and loved it. We walked through French Quarter and it was gorgeous. I'm so jealous. I love Disney!
At the risk of sounding like a bridezilla Assholes will find any reason to call you a bridezilla.
I finally informed my mother that the next time I tell her something we've decided on, she is going to tell me it's a great idea and give her moral support. If I want her advice, I'll ask her for it. That 2nd-guessing my decisions won't help anyone and will only result in hearing a soft click that will be unexplained until she hears the dial tone.
With our bridemaid dresses, I've sic'd a bridesmaid on the dress shop who informed me the dresses would ship from Floriday on Feb. 24. With the wedding on March 11, I tried to get the woman to correct this but she refused and when I started crying, she actually YELLED at me. The particular bridemaid I sic'd on her is a mother of 3 and super pissed so she'll get the dresses here in time. Then I'm reporting the woman to the Consumer Protection Agency and the BBB.
If people expect you to please them, I've learned to sic someone on them.

That's probably the best decision many of us can make :-)
