I'm going to purchase (well, Mom and dad are) our wedding package online within the next couple of days..although, I wish I had a way to check up on these companies. I have no idea if they are reputable or not. I see that some have listings on their sites stating they are part of the Better Business Bureau, Hawaii Wedding Professionals Assn. and ( Read more... )

If they say they're listed with the Better Business Bureau, you can call the BBB and ask if any complaints have been filed agains them. You can do that even if they're not listed--oftentimes if people are unhappy with an unlisted company they complain to the BBB just so that people like you will know that a company is disreputable. Try that *before* you book! (and ask the price of the negatives)

good luck :)

I went to Hawaii for my Honeymoon too! We went with a BEYOND EXCELLENT touring company called Tauck World Discovery.

http://www.tauck.com/docs/frameset3.htm

(From this page click on the United States and then click on Hawaii)

They have an 8 day (3 Island, Oahu / Kauai / Maui ) tour and a 13 day (4 Isald Oahu / Kauai / Maui / Big Isalnd) tour. (We did the 13 day tour, but I'm sure the 8 day is just as breathtakingly beautiful!)

One draw back is they are a little pricier than some other tour copmanies... but believe me it is definately worth every penny. You are really treated like a Queen & King... especially if you are "honeymooners." I hope your Mom & Dad are the generous type... because you really need to go on this trip! Its a once-in-a-lifetime experince. (I will cross my fingers and say a litter prayer that they get this for you!)
