Hi everyone! I'm new here, and I'm hoping that this community will help me de-stress a bit as I plan my wedding. So without further ado...

City/State/Country you live in: Virginian by birth, New Mexico due to profession. (I'm an archaeologist.) Currently living in sin with my soon-to-be husband in Alamogordo, NM. :)
City/State/Country you're getting married in (if different): Same as above.
Your song/First Dance song: Not sure yet.
Wedding Colors: Eggplant purple and sunshiny yellow.
Formality: Casual
Theme (if you have one): Steampunk! Gaming! Dinosaurs! Zombies! Ninjas! All of the above!
Number of guests: 150-200, depending on how many out-of-towner's RSVP
How'd you meet your fiance?: at a little coffee shop in my current town.
How long have you been together?: 2 years and some change.
Do you have a personal wedding website?: nope.

Anything else you'd like to tell us?: I'm a terrified, unconventional bride. I know, I know, just like everyone else, right? My fiance is the first male that I've seriously dated, and it was a big shock to many of my friends/family when I started dating a Christian boy! I travel quite a bit in and out of the country for my job, so I've been having trouble finding the time to coordinate the event. I can't wait to start reading everyone's posts, getting advice and inspiration, and seeing how the rest of you are handling your own events!
