I love how life is always changing and surprising you. Our lives have completely changed since initially getting engaged, so our wedding planning has also been evolving.
We're set on a date now (04.20.2013), so long as the venue is available. A week or so difference is no big deal. We're going for an Old Florida feel.

What I've got so far, with pictures. )

Everything looks so pretty! I totally scoped out your Pinterest board and re-pinned a few things. We have a similar style!

Also, I grew up in Daytona! Holly Hill, actually - I dunno if you know it, but it's like the ~shady part of Daytona, lol. My boyfriend (yeah, I'm just a WP lurker, lol) grew up in Ponte Vedra/Jax area. We met while going to UCF (still currently live in Orlando). We were actually in Palm Coast last weekend on our way up to Jacksonville for a concert - at a Publix, ON Saturday, RIGHT after that crazy car accident happened, but it was at a different Publix down the street. Crazy.

Anyway, I don't know off hand of any inexpensive and cool venues, but I will be bookmarking this post when my own time comes because we are thinking of St. Augustine!

Edited to say I saw your blog and I considered going into Library and Information Studies too, that's awesome! I'm assuming you are doing the FSU program. I have a friend who did it. She works as a librarian now and loves it. I have a friend doing the USF program too! Good

SMALL WORLD! I'm from Holly Hill, too! Hurst Elem., HHMS, everything. What about you? I heard about the car accident--nuts! Were you at the Publix close to the 95 exit on Palm Coast Parkway/Belle Terre? That's the one I generally go to, since I live right down the street from there.

Can I add you? We've got so much in common, it's crazy. :)

OMG NO I WENT TO HURST! Only for fifth grade though, I moved to Florida from New Orleans when I was 10. Hahahaha holy crap, small world indeed! I think Hurst closed down though. :[ I loved that school. My little brother went to HHMS, but I went to OBMS because I was in gifted. I went to Mainland though! Before it was ~redone.

Yes the one right off the highway. I guess it's that one? There's a Starbucks right there right? We were even remarking about how many older people live in the Daytona area and then that crap happens. Go figure.

Definitely! :o) I actually don't update this journal anymore (just use it for communities and such), but I keep a health-and-fitness blog at jenislosingit! I'll add you on both if that's OK! ♥

Whoooooa! Did it really close down? That's so sad! I drove by HHMS the other day when I was in the area, and it's completely knocked down except for the gym and the media center. They got rid of it and merged a lot of the kids into HHE. I was zoned for Mainland (aka Vince Carter School), but went to Spruce Creek for IB.

Lovely! That's perfect.
