Theme (if you have one): What Lucius Malfoy's wedding would be, basically. Slytherin Victorian haunted mansion?

How'd you meet your fiance?: At my new job, 4 days after moving to Michigan (From California.) Talk about confirmation that my move was the right thing to do, wow!
How long have you been together?: 3+ years, 5 by the time we get married.

Anything else you'd like to tell us?: YAY WEDDING~! I am a perfectionist and I'm worried about stressing myself out, so I'm hoping that starting early enough (two years in advance) will allow me to keep things stress-free and maybe even stay in budget. Fingers crossed! I think I've decided on the venue and the dress, but that's about it so far. I'll post links when I'm more certain.
My big question right now is photographers, because we need to do an engagement shoot soon and I'd like to get an idea of how much the photography for that and the wedding will cost to budget for everything else. The photographers I have found that I like are usually around 2k - more than I was expecting, but if that's what it takes, I will find space in the budget for it. Pictures are important! Photography is all we will have after it is over, so it means a lot to us.
Anyway, does anyone have any recommendations for Michigan-based wedding photography? We're non-traditional and very whimsical/costume-y.

Edit: We're in Rochester Hills (Southeast MI) and the venue is likely Kalamazoo, but not for sure yet (South centralish MI)
