I think it looks good, but I would leave the lower lash lining/shadow. It will really help your eyes pop. And maybe add just a hint more of blush. But all in all I think you look wonderful :)

Thank you! I'm so unused to seeing myself in makeup that I tend to think my eyes "pop" enough w/o the lower lash shadow-- plus I felt kinda raccoon-y (which I'm sure is just from not being used to wearing makeup).

I'll be doing the makeup on the day, so I can just practice with foundation until then and hopefully get it right. :) Thank you for your input and help!

I think the makeup looks pretty good! And I agree with the other posters about the lower lash shadow - keep it! I do think a plump-ier lip product would work well on you...even if it's just a stain with a gloss on top.

Also, I usually say this to pretty much everyone because I am an eyebrow fiend, but I think if you had your brows shaped and filled, it would really complete the look. It always really defines facial features and makes the eyes stand out!

Thanks for the input; I really appreciate it! I really hate having stuff on my lips, so I probably will forgo anything more than this gloss (or one similar). And yes, I meant to add in the post that I intend to get my brows shaped, or at the very least do a better pluck job on them. :)

i second the suggestion to have your brows shaped (waxing) and filled. my bff works at a benefit brow bar and they do great things.

they can show you a few little tricks that make eyes pop. maybe a softened smokey eye? i think with a little shaping and some highlighter under the brow bone, you'll find your eyes will be even more stunning.

Thanks for the input! There actually *is* some highlight under my brows, but it's difficult to see-- possibly the fault of the camera, the lighting, or the makeup itself. But I appreciate the advice! :)

So exciting! Definitely agree about the lower lash shadow as well. :) Yay for winter weddings in Northern CA! :D

I am super excited. :) And thanks for the input! I never wear makeup so to me I look a little raccoon-y with the lower lash stuff, but I think that's just me being hypercritical of myself.
