You could probably adapt most of the songs on this list for "specific events on your wedding night" ;)

I made a music post forever ago, and most of it still works. Only change is that we're no longer entering to the Hitchhiker's Guide theme, but the Indiana Jones theme, and my maids are walking down to the theme to Dumbledore's Army instead of Enya. Father/Daughter has also changed to "When You Go" by Jonathan Coulton, rearranged and sung by my brother under the Creative Commons license.

Okay, so there are a couple changes. Blah. :P

Ahhh!!! I love it! I love the Indiana Jones/Dumbledores Army! :) A lot of these song links don't work anymore though. :(

<3 Enya too. I wanted to play "May it Be" but it seems to sad to me.

Did you ever get a chance to get ahold of Spider Robinson?

Boo, dead links. :( I'll have to redo them at some point.

Oh, apparently that CD isn't available anywhere anymore for my processional music. Good thing I bought it. :D You can hear it here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sT9ReWDV0IU starting at about 2:30.

Recessional: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hqedFTIxKSE Ending Credits to Independence Day.

Shortly after I made this post I learned that Spider's wife, for whom he had written the song, had died very recently. Out of respect for her I'm not going to make the request for him to come sing the song, but we will be sending him a "just for fun" invite along with a letter telling him who the hell we are any why we're using his song.

Awe okay! That is a good idea! Thanks for the links! :)

Also, what song exactly are you using for Dumbledores Army? I tried googling it but of course only came up with a bajillion fan videos with their own songs.

Glad to see that I am not the only one using Don't Stop for the bride's processional! :)

I was so sold on this, but one of my girls (who is in the wedding party) wants this as her 'walk down the aisle' song, and I can't take that away from her. so. we're looking for another one :P

Aww, yay! It makes me think of The Wedding Singer, which is one of my favorite movies. I also want to incorporate Adam Sandler's "Grow Old With You", but idk where yet.

I don't know!!!!!! Eep.

For me walking down the aisle we're thinking "You and Me" by DMB.

For the bridal party we're thinking "We Are Family" by......idk? :p

When we all walk back out together we're thinking "Tonight's Gonna Be A Good Night" by BEP.

When Mr.VW walks down the aisle, hopefully with our moms on either side of him, "Mama's Song" by Carrie Underwood. If he walks on his own maybe "Country Boy" by Aaron Lewis.

When our lady who marries us walks down the aisle she asked for "Crazy Bitch" by Buckcherry.

For our first dance we are thinking "Tangled Up" by Aaron Lewis.

That's all I've got so far.
