DIY invitations: complete

I created a sort of Save-the-Date + Invitation combo. I'm going to send them out early, and they will include a card with information about the website, which will contain the bulk of the information. Each guest will have a login on the site, and they can use it to get updates (outdoor weddings require flexibility) and maps and RSVP and things

I've never tried embossing but am thinking for doing it for my future invitations. Was it difficult? Did you use a special heat tool or just a toaster (I read somewhere that you can use a toaster or even a blow dryer).

Embossing is not difficult, no. Depending on how many cards, it can be a little tedious. I used the heat gun and it worked great. I never tried a blow-dryer - it's worth a shot before you go buy a $20 heat-gun. I think the fan on a blow-dryer uses more force than the gun and might blast some of the powder away
