I know some of the things can be personal in nature but I'm just curious - what are your something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue accessories you are planning on wearing on your big day?

My something old is this tiny pearl pendant that belongs to my mom.  It has gold in it (and I'm a white gold girl...I think our entire ( Read more... )

I don't have a something old yet, I'll be asking my mom about that.

Something new: Dress

Something Borrowed: Veil, from my sister

Something Blue: Engagement ring (it has a blue diamond)

Something old: A cameo brooch that once belonged to my aunt.
Something new: Moon and star earrings, a gift from my FMIL.
Something borrowed: My mother's silk flower bouquet from her wedding.
Something blue: My shoes!

Pics are in my most recent update. =)

I just backtracked and saw your post. Everything is gorgeous! I also really love those earrings!

And I just love the idea of a bride wearing blue shoes as her "something blue." I would do the same if I didn't already buy shoes!

Thank you!

It seems like you have most of your accessories down, so the only thing I can think to suggest for something borrowed would maybe be a watch or bracelet? That seems to be the only thing you don't have. =P

Something old: I was thinking about wearing a pair of shoes I already own. I have a pair of white pointy-toed pumps I was going to add some embelishment to, or a pair of suede black pumps that have a ruffle on the heel.
Something new: Dress!
Something borrowed: No idea!
Something blue: No idea!

Re: your brooch, what about putting it on your bouquet?

Lol I didn't even think about that! Thanks for the suggestion :) I'm kind of nervous about tossing it though, I would hate to lose that pendant!

Most of the brides I know have two bouquets. If you did that you wouldn't have to worry about losing the pendant. Just my two-cents

Yes - or just remove it before you toss it!
