Large Magnets from VistaPrint

Jan 08, 2011 21:43

I know that people in the past in this community have used VistaPrint for save the date magnets, specifically for the large ones. I was planning to order those and then get invitation-size envelopes from Office Max to send them in.

If you did this (or something similar), did you have to pay extra postage to send the large magnets?

We did not. I'm not sure how large your magnets will be, but we had what I think are the average Save the Date sized magnet. I bought blank notecards and stamped them with a really cool "Love" design in gold on front and then used a removeable glue dot applicator to attach the magnets inside the notecards. It worked wonderfully and I paid nothing extra. My invites, on the other hand...I never even realized how heavy a pocketfold with stuff in it could get...lol

yes, I used them this past summer for our September '10 wedding and there was a little bit extra postage, maybe around 60 cents total?

I bought a fairly large magnet from magnetstreet and bought the envelopes to match them and did not have to spend any extra postage.
