My Gatsby Invitations

Has any one here used www.mygatsby.com for their invitations etc.? I like the simple yet elegant patterns, the customizing, and of course the price. Or can you recommend any other online vendors for me to check out. And if you know of an online wedding vendor/printer that will print on recycled paper, even better!

We did!! We were SO happy with our invites. The thermography was great quality and SO cheap too.

That's great to hear! Which pattern did you go with out of curiosity?

Yes and we LOVED them. I got the 5x7 jacket invitation and put a ribbon around it. Everyone said they were gorgeous. They were simple, but elegant. I got an invitation, RSVP card with pre-printed envelope, 1 insert, lined envelopes with pre-printed return address, ribbon and seals to put over the ribbon for about $600, I believe. That was for 75 invites and 100 envelopes.

They look so good! Much better than the website photos. How much was the postage? Did you apply the postage directly to the jacket?

Nope, we used envelopes, but we only use done envelope, because I didn't think we needed "inner envelopes" anyway, and it would have been too much with the jacket. The invite w/ jacket, plus 2 inserts, plus RSVP envelope made the cost of postage $.81 per invite, not including the stamp on the RSVP envelope. Could be worse. I know people who have DIYed pocket invites and paid over $1.

Thanks for the info! I love the look of jacket invites but I'm trying to stray from RSVP cards w/ envelopes and go for postcards RSVP cards, and I didn't see any on mygatsby.

Did they customize/print the insert cards for you as well?
