Not too much has happened since my last status update but I wanted to share my florist, save-the-dates and my dress which came in MUCH earlier than anticipated!
Awww well thank you so much! I keep forgetting we haven't met the officiant yet. He has us on his books but it worries me since ya know, he is the most important thing (next to Jeff anyway).
I couldn't believe that $1500.00 was considered tiny! Our very loose theme is books so the flowers will all have a Jane Austen feel to them. Some tables will have three various size mint julep cups on the table and each cup will be filled with three different types of flowers in our colors (lavender, sky blue and celedon) and other tables will have a large silver bowl with a mix of all three of the flowers.
My florist is using mint julep cups too! My budget is tiny too... $2000 for a 160 guest count. :O The money sucker is going to be the church altar pieces, 2 of them at $550 total, OUCH. This is why I had to do a cost effective centerpiece option. Everyone seems to be gdoing 2 different kinds of centerpieces... wondering if I should do the same? Btw, I LOVE your flowers!
Thank you! I am not wearing a veil (they aren't really me and I am a second time bride and older so it just seems odd) but I will be wearing a veil.
My stylist hasn't given me any ideas yet. More than likely it will be the same way I always wear it, just a bit poofier than usual. I am really going to play up my make up so I don't want to go crazy with my hair.
