I'm just going to get to the point with this post; my dad died when I was 6, and though I like my step dad, I think it would feel awkward to walk down with him, considering our past. Walk with your mom. It's obvious it's what would make you happiest and it doesn't matter if it's different.

Haha this is true =) I think I probably will, but
I was still curious what others had done in my or

You sound like you want to walk with your mom so I would probably suggest that. However, walking in with your future husband would also be an option.

Walking with your Mom is not unheard of and would be a great choice.

my father passed away a few years ago, so i'm going to be walking down with my two brothers on either side of me. if they had decided not to, however, i totally would have asked my mom :3

I walked myself down the aisle :-)
My reasoning was, this was my 2nd marriage so no one could really "give me away" this time. I felt like it was something that I needed to do on my own and I'm really happy I did.

If you want to walk by yourself - awesome. If you want your mom to walk with you - DO IT! It's whatever feels right to you. I'm sure your mom would be honored.

Haha I would consider walking alone, but
when I get nervous I get sort of clumsy,
so it would be nice to have someone there
for some literal support LOL
