Epic Post-Wedding Pro Pics and Vendor Reviews

Sep 26, 2010 20:21

I loved our wedding. Loved, loved, loved it. There were glitches, of course, but nothing insurmountable. And the good definitely outweighed the bad by a long shot. My 9 day progress post with all the little details is here and the non-pro pics post is here.  If anyone wants pricing info on any of the vendors we used, I'm happy to share.

Long post is long. (Seriously, it's like the )

I was watching the season premiere of the Amazing Race tonight, and I'm almost positive they started the race at the Crane Estate. I recognized it from your non-pro pics that you posted awhile back, and now I'm sure it was the same place. How cool is that?

That is awesome! It was also used for the exterior shots of The Witches of Eastwick and in this weird little movie I caught on TV one night called The Proposition. I did a double take and kept watching.

Looks lovely! Ours ended earlier than expected as well, but in the end it was a blessing. Neither of us dance and it was great to be lounging in our awesome hotel room, ordering food soonafter.

Thank you! I dance - badly, but with enthusiasm - so I was just happy that DH danced for more than just the first song. We were back at the hotel by 11pm and only then did I realize my feet hurt. :D

Oh my gosh, this is unbelievably elegant. From your dress and veil, to the location, to the decor/flowers/cake, everything came together to make this look so classy and regal.

I also read this post while listening to your recessional piece and it really added a certain something. =)

Thanks for the advice at the end, I'm certainly going to keep it in mind as my own wedding planning continues to become more complex and stressful. And, of course, congratulations! =D

Aww... thank you! I love that you were listening to the music. I kept doing that during the planning!

This was incredibly well executed. Everything came out so so well, and you looked STUNNING.

And let me add this, though I know it's dangerous: I usually hate blue weddings. It's just a thing I have. But you did blue SO WELL. I love it.

Haha - thanks! About 5 minutes into my first meeting with the caterer he stopped me and said, "wait, do you work in hospitality? OK - let's *really* talk!" It definitely helped having been on the other side of the table!

I can't stand blue in food - so I was adamant the cake only have a TINY bit of blue. We were aiming for "water" and "sand" with the colors.
