Hi! So the darling mancreature and i are apparently 97 days from the wedding, (which frankly is terrifying) so that means honeymoon planning time! We're paying for it ourselves, and are thinking the cruise route. We live in Florida so that's a really easy thing for us to pull together

I've been on three cruises -- two with my now-husband -- and I really strongly recommend checking out the forums at CruiseCritic.com for all your first-timer questions. There'll be folks there who really know your ship and your itinerary inside out.

I'm actually getting married ON a Carnival cruise. Carnival and Norwegian are both awesome. You'll have a really fun time.

We honeymooned on the Carnival Destiny! Make sure you tell Carnival that it's your honeymoon- they sang "Happy honeymoon to you, kiss kiss kiss!" to the tune of happy birthday and had a candle in an extra dessert.

We booked directly through Carnival though
