Did any of you folks use unconventional processional/recessional music with a live musician?

We're having a hammered dulcimer player and while I have to double-check what she's capable of, I'm curious to see what you guys did! :)

We're going to have a string trio (violin, viola, cello), which is pretty standard, but we're playing a song each by Enya and from Phantom of the Opera for the processional, and another song by Enya for the recessional. Not so traditional. ;)

We had a conventional musician (a pianist) but I found all the sheet music we wanted and provided it to her in advance, so we had selections from: The Princess Bride, Star Wars, Civilization IV, and Final Fantasy VI, among others.

I had an acoustic guitarist for the ceremony-- my processional was "She's a Rainbow" by the Rolling Stones. It was perfect. :)

We walked in to Seasons of Love from Rent (the wedding party walked into the regular song, I walked into the reprise in a different key) played on a keyboard since we were on a beach and couldn't do a piano. It sounded amazing and I was hiding when she started playing and the minute I heard it I was overcome by emotion. It was great.

We walked out to a piece she put together using the themes from Lord of the Rings :)

How awesome- I so LOVE Seasons of Love and asked FH if we could play it at the ceremony but he thinks it's just a "showtune". :(

It sounds great as an instrumental. We had a really classy wedding and I think it was perfect :)
