ring bearer gift

Any suggestions for small gift for 9 yr old ring bearer. I was thinking some type of toy but what does a 9 year old like that isn't expensive? I don't want things listed in wedding books like things engraved.. I want something he would actually be happy about... hmmmm I know he likes sports.. pretty much all kinds..

I would ask his parents what he likes when it's closer to the wedding. Tastes change often in kids that age and what he likes now, he might not like a month from now. This is what I'm planning on doing for my nephew when he's my ring bearer.

I agree with waiting until the month of the wedding and seeing what the "in" toys are! ;) Or just buy him a bunch of those little Bakugan things...they must be pretty cool with nine-year-olds, considering the fact that I have to confiscate about thirty a day from third-grade boys.

We're doing an engraved Louisville slugger baseball bat. You can order them online but since we live in Louisville, no shipping for us ;)
