Love it! I looked into doing 'plantable' favors, and discovered that unless you make it really easy for people to use them [give a little bit of instruction for growing, so examples of what will grow, etc] most people won't take them and most of the ones that do get taken will never be planted. :(
That being said, SUCH a cute way of doing it!

These ARE SO CUTE!!

Also, I had to read your dime bag sentence twice... then I lol-ed when I read the next sentence, I was thinking the same thing! :)

I love that they're a spin on the more old school/classic match book favor!!

I harumphed at matchbooks, since they seem so silly nowadays, but then I saw that they are seeds! How cool!

Ooo, I love them. I've been looking into doing seeds or baby trees for my wedding, seeds are probably the better choice since it will be fall/winter.

What about roasted pumpkins seeds? Mmm... pepitas. :)

It's a lot harder to sprout the seeds if you roast them first. ;)

To be a teeny bit more serious, planting trees and native wildflowers and the like is a minor hobby of mine, so I'd like my guests to take away something that they can grow. I'll probably roll with wildflowers native to the eastern half of the US in general if I can find some, as that will work for all my guests, and also wildflowers are essentially pretty weeds and thus are pretty easy to get to grow.
