I won free photography

So, a few weeks ago, I entered a giveaway, this giveaway, on the Green Orchid Events blog to win a photography session in Vegas. I was stalking the blog nearly every day as the winner would be chosen randomly from the comments. There were still only 5 commenters (I was the 5th) so I figured we had a 20% chance at it, which isn't all that high ( Read more... )

Also there is a ride on top of the Stratosphere that I've seen couples get their wedding pics taken while riding, but it's all the way on the other side of the strip from the first 3 I mentioned :)

I'm not brave enough to get on the roller coaster up there, but just being up there might offer some cool pictures too. we can tour the world just by hitting a few hotels. thanks for the suggestions! :)

This doesn't answer your question but... I love the Red Rocks! I'm going out to Vegas in a week, I hope I get to go out there again :-)

But I second the Bellagio, so pretty inside!

Oh and the Flamingo has some really nice gardens and waterfalls outdoors in their courtyard.

I've heard this about the Flamingo before.. I might add it to our list. Def eating at the buffet overlooking the gardens while we're there.

have a great time!

Outside the Venetian and the Palazzo is a lovely area that looks very similar to the Plaza San Marco in Venice (the balcony, the bridge, etc.). FH and I are going to do a lot of our photos for our Vegas wedding there this Sunday. Also, the fountains around Caesar's Palace has great European appeal if you're into that sort of thing! We'll be stopping there as well :)

Ours is so informal that we don't actually have a wedding package, lol! It's just us and one really good mutual friend... We're picking up the license on Saturday (and then playing games and maybe seeing a show, lol), being married at the office of civil marriage commission on Sunday, my friend is going to take some pictures for us, and then we have reservations at Pinot Brasserie for that evening... and that's it, lol!

sweet! i'd probably get shot by about a dozen people if we did that. we're having about 25 people but nothing formal, just cupcakes and champagne in our suite after the ceremony. i mostly found a company since i wanted pictures and they handle absolutely everything. :)

have a fab time!

I love love loooove the Neon Boneyard, I'm a huge advocate of keeping history alive and think it would be totally worth it to get them done there.

I absolutely adore some of the old signs and think it would be tons of fun to have pictures out there- and stay to explore afterwards. I'm going to push for it, but in the off chance that it's closed or whatever other reason, i'm looking for back-ups. :)
