Magnets in the mail?

Nov 17, 2009 16:28

I think that sending Save the Date magnets is a cute idea, but for some reason I get the feeling that Canada Post isn't going to like it. Has anybody had their magnets arrive late or not at all because of issues with the post office? Would be especially nice to hear from people who sent them to or within Canada.

Thanks!

i had zero issues sending my magnets through the mail. I got the large photo magnets from vistaprint and found envelopes that fit them exactly and sent them with no extra postage. Some of my guests got them the very next day.

I'm in the US, so I don't know how the Canadian postal service works.

I had no issues sending my magnets. I sent one to Canada, which was received 3 days after I sent it, and several to Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic which similarly didn't have problems. They were 3x4 magnets sent in just slightly-larger envelopes.

I've sent and received magnets in cards and gifts and it was never a problem with Canada Post.

I had no issues whatsoever sending our save-the-date magnets in the mail (we're in Manitoba and most of our guest list was within Canada). I've also received a few as well. We stuck ours in Christmas cards and sent them that way.

We didn't have any issue with Canada Post.
