I wouldn't know where to find something but you can get battery operated mics (handheld radio mics) that sounds like they'll be perfect for you. A setup like that would be wireless, you'll just need to have your officiant holding the mic for you to speak into :) Bear in mind that if you don't know how the equipment works you'll need to hire someone to come in, set it up for you and then take it away again at the end of the night.
Maybe check some clubs that do cabaret/karoke? Ask them where they get their equipment?
If there are any party supply stores/companies in your area, I'd try calling them to see if they rent any equipment like that or know of someone who does. You could also try calling local djs to see if they know of someone that rents out sound equipment!
And just as a side-note, I don't know where you're getting married (private or public setting), but if it's somewhere like a public park, I'd definitely look into the rules regarding amplified sound and whether you need to get a permit for that or not. If it's a private setting, it probably won't matter; just if it's public.
Either your officiant or your DJ should already have or be able to acquire this equipment for you. You may be able to rent a PA setup from a DJ if you are not using a DJ already.
We investigated doing the same thing for our ceremony. It turned out that the price for renting the equipment was on par with the price for purchasing it, so we did. We bought two 10" pa-style speakers on stands, a wireless mic, and a mixer, all for around $350. It's not of the omg greatest quality, but it did what we needed it to do and now it's ours to keep or sell. (We went this way because several of our friends went the rental route, and the quality of the equipment they used still wasn't exactly top of the line, and for the price, it just made sense for us to do it this way.)
If you're interested in more details of our purchase, email me at katryxx at gmail.com The fh took care of this business, so I'd have to get the info, website, etc from him. And if you'd like to buy it up from us, it's available!
