Yay, so today we found suits for our wedding! Thank you, Men's Wearhouse buy one, get one free sale! I love them! They go with the beachy vibe, like you said, but they're also very snazzy and crisp.

Doesn't it feel nice to get something crossed off your list? :)

It sure does. And we can take them on our honeymoon Greek Islands cruise, too. I love that we'll wear them for the first time at the wedding, but that we'll be able to wear them on any number of occasions for years to come afterwards.

I've also suggested that we might go with chocolate dress shirts rather than white or light-colored; I think the contrast of the dark shirt with the tan suit could be striking (e.g., as in the promotional photos of the suits in the main post, where the one shirt is a dark rose/coral).

I love the idea of a different colored shirt other than white or ivory. FH is wearing a dark red shirt (that corresponds with the sash for my dress, but sshhh he doesn't know that, lol) with a canary yellow tie, and the GMs are wearing the opposite. I think it's going to look great.

I like your idea for the chocolate shirt since the contrast would be so striking! Congratulations on your marriage! It was great that the MW was so accomodating to you and friendly and helped you with what you wanted.

I want my boyfriend/fiance to wear a similar suit for our wedding, with a sage tie. Good choice;-)

gorgeous suits! my fiance bought a slightly darker linen one from Jcrew super sale, and then his groomsmen are renting a tan (non linen though because we couldnt find them to rent...though maybe we'll check out this sale....) suit. We think they are wearing ivory shirts with blue striped raw-silk ties (ariadress.com) to coordinate with the bridesmaids, and then their boutonniere will have blue flowers with one of those chocolate fern curls (our one big flower splurge since they will be wearing them all night!) to pop off the light color.

sage green would be lovely with them!
