Processional

Would it seem weird to use just one song for the processional? We're planning what's shaping up to be an Oasis wedding (haha) and I'm SO IN LOVE with the Vitamin String Quartet cover of Champagne Supernova. (Our reception introduction song and first dance are both also Oasis. My favorite band, maybe??) I'd like to have the bridesmaids walk down ( Read more... )

I'm a church organist and I use one song for both all the time (Canon in D, usually)

We have that CD, haha! I like the strings only versions better. More... dainty, I guess. :)

I think it can be weird to use more than one song - one song is just groovy.

I have no idea why could someone find this weird
many songs that have not much in common, that would be weird

I've been to a handful of weddings and they always use two different songs. I planned on using just the one song no matter what and just wanted to see if my opinion on its weirdness was the norm or not! :)

well, maybe you will encounter some people who thinks this is weird, I learned that people find weirdness everywhere, especially in weddings, while I'm generally on the: who cares? side

I used the same song (Canon in D) for the entire processional. It worked out just fine :)
