Tracking down some excellent wording from a Vegas bride

A while ago (and I can't even begin to say when it was - probably early spring), someone posted here about her wedding in Las Vegas

So you want your guests to pay for their food at the reception? Is this a full restaurant type menu? How many guests?

It's not exactly asking them to pay for their own food at the reception. Well, okay, it is. I think it is. But I've been out-voted.

So now, we're providing a cake and champagne reception and then essentially are saying (but hopefully in a better way): "Hey, we're hungry and going to grab something to eat. You're welcome to come if you want, but it's totally separate cheques Sportsfans because the official part of the day is over."

It's a miniscule wedding - 18 people tops. We could probably just rely on work of mouth but I'm hoping for something a little more formal-esque.

We're doing something similar: official reception (cakes, cupcakes, cheesecakes, canned drinks), then dutch-treat dinner several hours later for anyone who wants to brave our respective families. For those not as adventurous, we'll have a couple locals attending who can point out good alternative restaurants or pizza delivery places.

then on a seperate insert:

The Bride and Groom are planning to celebrate their wedded bliss by having lunch following the Reception at ____. If you want to join us, we'd love the company. However, this is a no-host event. The cost per person is ____.

i wondered about doing something similar for our Vegas shindig, not really wanting the dinner afterward to cost more then the wedding itself. thanks for posting this!
