Hi WPers,

I haven't posted lately at all, even though things have been in the works. Just so crazy with life and all, that my time on LJ is limited at best! I am playing to do a larger progress post soon (hopefully next Sunday after we meet with the caterer again). We are only 160 days away from August 22nd and time is FLYING! Breaaathe. Okay so.

Your dress is beautiful. So elegant.

Your honeymoon sounds fun too. We're toying with the ideas of New England for ours, but I also want to include NYC. We're from the UK so it's a little more complicated though...

NYC is awesome. I'm from New Hampshire but was born in New York, so good memories there. Thanks, I love the dress too. :)

Yay new england! And ironically enough Im in NY right now (orig from boston) the trip down to NYC from just south of boston took us about 4.5 hrs with a stop...and we went all the way onto long island...so its prob even shorter to get to the city. You should totally do it, sounds like a great trip!

Hey - you should check out the ferry from Port Jefferson (NY, on LI) to New London (CT) It makes the trip more fun and you can avoid city traffic.

Thank you! I'm excited too. I ordered it in November so I am getting antsy. Haha.

My bridesmaids are wearing indigo too! I don't care what styles they are in so long as they can get that color (and from Alfred Angelo) I never would have gone with the color if it weren't for seeing the color in real life - on the website it just looks too bright. In real life it is gorgeous though!

I'm getting married just one week later and I totally agree on the time just flyingggg by XD (my dress is also Maggie Sottero! Yours is beautiful :D)

Yeah, I never thought I'd pick the color either! I thought I wanted cornflower based on the website, but in person the cornflower was too light, and the indigo was much less bright in person. What Maggie dress have you chosen? I can't wait for mine to come in! I ordered it back in November so I am antsy, haha.

I ended up going with Symphony :D

I actually didn't know it had those little flowers on it on the side... I think they'd fallen off of the dress I tried on, but I didn't notice :x

My sister-in-law had a Maggie Sottero dress as well and she looked freaking gorgeous in it, so those were most of what I was trying on at the shops. I only just found and ordered my dress last weekend! Super excited to get it in :D

Oh wow that is gorgeous! If my wedding was more formal I would maybe have gone with something that had a train like that. Yeah, I heard great things about Maggie dresses. I was torn between the Lilly and the Anastasia, but eventually the Lilly won me over! :)
