Invitation help?

Hello wonderful LJ community!  I need some back up here.  I hate asking "Can I?" since I believe my wedding can be whatever I want, but a little re-assurance or flat out honest opinions are definitely needed.   I have been dreading searching for invitations for months now, but with my wedding 10 months away I thought it was time to get started.  I ( Read more... )

Our invitations aren't going to match our color scheme. :) I wouldn't be concerned about them. If you love the invites then use them.

my wedding colors ended up being tropical colors because i used all local flowers and bought my bridemaids dresses and the groomsen shirts on sale just a few weeks before the wedding but all the linens and my dress and the grooms wedding shirt...( too hot for a jacket it was was a shirt and slacks) were white ( ... )

I say go with the invitations you like! Colour doesn't matter - honestly, your guests will probably not figure out (or care) that the invites were a different colour than the decor, etc.

For me, matching the formality of the invitations (wording, style, overall look) to the wedding/reception is more important, as it gives guests a clue how formal they should dress for the day.

It would be ridic to ignore the awesomeness of .33 cent invites.

None of your guests will bring the invite and match it to your wedding colors. And if any of them do, well...they're being too picky. :-)
