So, our ring bearer Jack, who is about 5 and my FH's cousin, is apparently starting to get nervous about his job. (Our wedding is in a little over a month!) One of FH's aunts thought that if Jack saw a movie with a ring bearer in it having a good time, it might make him feel better. I can't think of any at all, though. You could show him youtubes of kids doing their ringbearer job!

Aaw, that's so cute! My officiant told me he'll talk to the flower girl/ring bearers individually before the ceremony, so they're not scared walking toward a perfect stranger. He tells the flower girls to save him a flower because he wants to put it in his pocket, and I think he asks the ring bearer to bring him the (fake) rings on the pillow. That way his job is done right at the beginning, and he doesn't get confused when the officiant asks for the ring and the best man has them instead of him.

I don't know if that helps, but my officiant said it works! =)

You could write him a little story about him and what he will do on the big day and how everyone will think he's handsome, etc. Maybe if you prepare him for the series of events, he will be more at ease.

(I do stories like these for kids at work - they work even better if you can take a picture of the child and make it really about them!)
