Pretty! ^^ But, a little more expensive than I can afford. Especially for something I'll be giving away. ^_-

I ordered my flowers from www.wedideas.com they typically do bouquets but maybe if you contacted them they could get you single longstem flowers?

Very pretty! But, a little too much on the expensive side for me, since I'm just going to be giving it away in the end.

I really dont mean this in a snarky manner, but cant seem to figure out how to word it...

You say you've seen some horrendous silks lately... well you get what you pay for. I understand budget (trust me, I do, I am spending a lot less than $8k for a ~150 guest list), but going with cheap silks tends to end up with horrendous silks from what I've seen while looking.

Search 'inexpensive silk flowers' I don't know what your budget looks like, but check them.

Here are the top 3 results:

USI Silk, Inc
Silk Palms.com

Hobby Lobby has some lovely ones. Crafts, Etc. is their online store, if you, like I, don't have a local one.

Save-on-Crafts? I see some blue and purple silk lilies for $2.99 each (less if you get 12 or more). They have a lot of other silk flowers too. But shipping is also a factor, so I don't know if that's something that might not work for you. If you didn't want blue/green lilies or other more uncommon flowers, I'd say just buy a fresh bouquet from the grocery store or Wal-Mart a couple days before the wedding and wrap it up yourself. If you only need 1 bouquet, that's the route I'd go.

The fresh bouquet from the supermarket shouldn't cost more than $20, depending on what's available and what you choose. But there's not a lot of variety usually, and it's usually not blue flowers they have available.

There were a few nice flowers there. <3 But, yeah, I don't want to do fresh-- seems like a waste of money if something's just going to die a couple days after you use it.

Meh- you can always hang them upside down and dry out the flowers after the event- I had dried flowers in a vase for 4 years (until the ex broke up with me).

I had fake ones from my mom's wedding when I was 8. They collected dust and eventually got trashed.
