Your wedding sounds like fun! I'm not planning a wedding myself, but I'm helping my sister with hers. She wanted some environmentally friendly tableware instead of plastic, and we found this site - http://www.greenpartygoods.com/... )

I second the seed paper, especial, if you'd be sending out the invites in the spring. I found really pretty ones once, let me search and post them if I find them again.

(ps- vampire icons for vegan make me giggle)

Yay for green weddings! Here are some useful blogs, if you haven't discovered them already:

Earth Friendly Weddings

Eco Chic Weddings

Real Green Weddings

Offbeat Bride is also a good resource. Not everything on there is 'green,' but they do have a lot of vegan, hippy, and outdoorsy weddings. Good luck!

I gave spruce saplings as my favors, and I got them from this site: http://www.greenworldproject.net/

They were a pretty big hit with my guests, and it was nice to have a living favor. We used the ones in the tubes since a lot of our guests traveled pretty far and I didn't want the tree to die on the way home.

Tomato plants! Because anyone can grow a tomato plant indoors or outdoors, it encourges people to grow their own food/eat organic.

I don't know what your budget is, but I watched a special on green weddings once where the couple's invitations were made out of seeds and bio-degradeable ornaments so that all they had to do was plant the card and it wuold grow wild flowers. It was pretty awesome.
