Wow! What a beautiful ring! It's very unique, I like it a lot. As far as entrances go, I think you can do whatever format you want. We are going to have separate songs for all the entrances, but that is just a personal choice.
My mom told me that it's customary to have a separate song for the bride's entrance, just so that people can know when to stand up. Personally, I wouldn't mind if no one stood up... I'm rather short and they'll all have to look down at me! *grin*
Your ring is beautiful! We did one song for the attendants and then another when my husband and I were introduced. Our DJ was very helpful in figuring all of that out.
All of the music below was string quartet versions by the Vitamin String Quartet (look them up on Amazon - you can listen to samples and buy the songs for 99 cents)
Prelude Music Hands Down - Dashboard Confessional Realize - Colbie Caillat Shameless - Garth Brooks Iris - Goo Goo Dolls Something - The Beatles I'll Be - Edwin McCain Bless the Broken Road - Rascal Flatts
Ceremony Music Seating of grandmothers and mothers: Sweet Child O' Mine - Guns N' Roses Bridesmaid Processional: All You Need is Love - The Beatles Bride's Processional: Chasing Cars - Snow Patrol Sand Ceremony: Through the Eyes of Love - this is the only one that wasn't the string quartet, it was the John Williams Orchestra Recessional: She Loves You - The Beatles
Postlude Music Some Hearts - Carrie Underwood Living on a Prayer - Bon Jovi I Believe in a Thing Called Love - The Darkness Hey there Delilah - Plain White T's
LOL we only just finally decided these yesterday... wedding is Saturday.
Processional (just dad and I): All You Need is Love by the Vienna Symphonic Orchestra Project Signing: Guantanamera by Compay Segundo. (I know, weird. But we got engaged in Cuba and this was playing all the time when we were there, and it reminds us so much of Cuba and how this whole thing started!) Recessional: All I Want is You by Barry Louis Polisar

That sounds like a good idea. We're not having a DJ at the ceremony, so I'm taking all the advice I can get! :)
