Processional music

Do most people choose a song for the parents to walk to, and then a different song for the bridesmaids, or are they the same song?

I found a song I love, and I think it's long enough to cover, but I also don't want to confuse people.

Thanks!

I have the same song for my fiance's grandmother and both of our mothers. The rest of the bridal party is walking to another song up until the wedding heralds (Trumpet Voluntary for them).

Yeah no grandparents for me, but that is good to know that the bridal party has their own song. Thanks!

Yeah, I have a feeling that the grandparents, parents, bridesmaids, and me will all walk down to the same song.

As to not confuse people, the officiant standing at the front could do the "time to stand up" signal with his hands, and that way everyone would know to stand, because you're coming out.

I'm going to try and aim for one song for all parties. I'm a bit anal with music, and hate it when a song is just chopped in the middle to switch to another one :)

We're doing different songs for the parents, the groom & officiant, the groomsmen, the bridesmaids, and me. They're are just too many songs I love. We're editing them to be shorter.

We have a song for EVERYONE in the processional [parents and bridal party] and then a song for just me and my dad.

They're going to pause between the two songs and the officiant will say "please stand for the entrance of the bride" and then they'll start my song.
