My dress - Alfred Angelo - it was the first one I tried on. The corset back is so fabulous I don’t even have to wear a bra - something I haven’t been able to do since middle school! I just found out it came in TODAY - we just ordered it on Saturday!

Bridal Processional: The Beatles - Here Comes the Sun
Recessional: Stealers Wheel - Stuck in the Middle with You
Wedding party - groom will be wearing a black suit and silver ties, groomsmen will be wearing black suits and burgundy ties. Groomsmaid will wear the bridesmaid dress in black. Bridesmaids will be wearing this David’s Bridal dress in Apple.
Still need an officiant. It’s getting tough to find someone as FH is atheist, I’m agnostic but a cultural Jew, so still want some of those traditions, but we don’t want God mentioned. I have two people I’m working on….
We also have written our vows, using a poem as our guide.
We have two great readings: A piece from Union by Robert Fulghum and The Lovely Love Story by Edward Monkton.
Reception will be on the large driveway [which they’re repaving!], with the tables surrounding this central planter

Father/Bride Dance: Barry Manilow - Can’t Smile Without You

Invitations - Touch of Autumn from Invitations by Dawn [approved the proof last night!] Best friend/bridesmaid with awesome handwriting will address!
Photographer - FH’s old roommate is a fashion/music photog who does weddings on the side. She is giving us an amazing package for $1000.
Caterer- we have a company, which includes staff and all rentals. I’m a picky eater, so FH gets to pick the menu. We’re having a pizza delivered for me! And an Edible Arrangement at my place at the table!
Still need a florist but have tons of ideas:
Made a decision on centerpieces, need to order once I find out shipping costs:
These lanterns
which I found for $5.99 each surrounded by mulberry scented tealights [score one for the deal I found - 400 of them for $100!] and a couple of flowers
Still need a cake, but this is my favorite idea so far, only with our colors
FMIL is paying for our wedding night hotel at the new Four Seasons, comes with a spa package and breakfast!

I still can't believe I got all of this done in the three weeks since we've been engaged...including the fact that I dislocated my kneecap two weeks ago! Good luck to all of you and keep posting - gives me inspiration!
