My fiance's sister is going to be his honor attendant.

Anyone else in this situation?

Are you calling her the:
- Maid of Honor
- Best Woman
- Honor Attendant?

ETA: I would like to acknowledge my deceased grandparents in the wedding program. Anyone else doing this? I imagine the wording something like this:

On this day we also celebrate the life and memory ( Read more... )

attendants, programs, attendants: best man, deceased loved one

Best woman is what I've seen.

My three brothers stood up on my side. We called them honor attendants. I've also seen "Best Woman" and "Groomschick"

We did not do deceased grandparents, but I've seen it done. Step parents were not in the program, I kept it to biological only, but it might depend on your relationship to the parents.

I would use Best Woman.

I have a BM that is my fiance's childhood friend.

our female-on-the-boy-side is just being referred to as "Laura" in general. And she looks like a bridesmaid (she's wearing a similar, if not the same, dress...she hasn't decided yet)...hahahah.

But all our vendors have written down "groomswomam/best friend".

The Maid of Hono(u)r is on the bride's side. ;)

We're using the term "Best Woman" for my fiancé's friend Rachel. :)
