I got the same phone call last week. I have no idea how they got my information, so I deleted the voicemail without calling them back. If I actually won anything, they'd tell me what it was and give me a few more credentials, in my opinion.

well it's very possible that it's one of the billionty drawings I entered at the wedding show I went to a bit over a week ago. I don't even remember all the companies I entered for stuff with :P

when I googled the number I found that everybody who had a comment about it, said the only place they had registered was David's, and apparently Davids/After Hours are selling their phone list to this company.

People also had a hard time with getting removed from the calling list. THey asked (in some cases) half a dozen times and are still receiving calls

I got that call, and the first time I answered and told them I'd call them back (after doing some research). From what I've heard, you have to go somewhere and listen to their sales pitch. I believe they're usually selling expensive cookware. I decided to just not call back.

Fast forward to a few months later, and they had the unfortunate timing to call me again the week that my aunt died. They continued to call me EVERY FUCKING DAY for the rest of the week.

They're awful. You have to sit through this cooking show thing and you get a weekend in a couple places, but you still have to pay for airfare. Scam, scam, scam.

Actually, if you're a cook- it's not a bad deal. We didn't go but a friend of mine did. You sit with a cook for about 90 minutes as he cooks you a meal (which you do get to eat). They do try to sell it to you, but really don't pressure you (at least, she claims she wasn't pressured). They did end up buying the cookware because her husband is a cook and she said it's amazing stuff. Worth ever penny for them since they use it every day (later as a group we gave her money to help pay for it as a wedding gift).

I believe they took a 3 day, 2 night trip in Vegas (which is driving distance to them) 2 weekends before the wedding and made it a pre-wedding get-a-way.

So, I guess it doesn't seem like a bad deal to me. If you're into cooking, anyway.
