Help - Mother/Son Dance

So, my FH is terribly with picking out songs.  He had decided a while ago that he really wanted to dance with his mother to One Wing in the Fire by Trent Tomlinson.  However, this isn't really mother/son-y and I was dreading it.  My FH's father had been very ill earlier this year, and I thought that this sone might have the wrong implication for my ( Read more... )

We did a joint dance and used Phil Collins' 'You'll be in my heart' from Tarzan. What about 'In my life' by the Beatles?

Check the Knot's q&a section. I know there's a section on traditional dance songs. This may give you some ideas as well.

Oh man, 'In My Life', my FH would LOVE that (huge beatles fan). But actaully thats not a bad idea at all.

We used it as our bridal party dance, but it could totally work for mother/son! :) I hope your FH agrees.

My husband and his mom danced to "I Hope You Dance" by Leeanne Womack...it was beautiful.
