Yeah, though I made that decision a long time ago. And you know what? You still catch up with the people who are important. And even if they do 'slip', if they're really important, you'll catch up with them again.

The thing that really gets me is that no one tells you anything about life. No one sat me down saying 'I know paying bills makes you feel less human, not to mention the shitty job you will almost certainly end up with, but once you establish a rhythm, you start to find joy in the small things...' or anything like that. We're just pushed out, fresh-faced and eager, until reality hits us like a bus :(
