It has come to a point where I have to decide if I will put the effort into keeping in touch with Uni friends, or let them slide into the mists of obscurity, and the worst thing is I have no one to talk with about it. I roleplay, I go to video night and watch Buffy and Big Bang Theory, but I don't think I have any friends I can talk about adult ( Read more... )

Yeah, though I made that decision a long time ago. And you know what? You still catch up with the people who are important. And even if they do 'slip', if they're really important, you'll catch up with them again.

Speaking of which, we should catch up. :D

Also, you won't catch me around if that's what you mean. Life's pushed me far too far in the future and kinda left Korner and MURP, as entities at least, long behind. :)

I'm a little overwhelmed by the positive response :)

The thing that really gets me is that no one tells you anything about life. No one sat me down saying 'I know paying bills makes you feel less human, not to mention the shitty job you will almost certainly end up with, but once you establish a rhythm, you start to find joy in the small things...' or anything like that. We're just pushed out, fresh-faced and eager, until reality hits us like a bus :(
