1) Why do you keep a blog/online journal?
Emotional health. Meeting new people. Learning and creating new ideas.
How many blogs/online journals do you have? If you have more than one, why?
I have my personal one, a "technical" one (I don't use much), and I moderate this community.
3) What are the perks and snarls (pros and cons) of blogging/keeping an online journal?
Once I had a conflict with someone in real life, and wrote about it in my livejournal. I was when I'd just begun to write it. Later I learned she had her own livejournal. I was nervous that she might find what I wrote, but she didn't.
Keeping a livejournal exposes millions of people to a world of ideas. It also encourages people to write and express themselves. And it's free. These are major ways to stay sane and connected with interesting people.
4) How many hours a week would you say that you spend reading other people's blog/journals or writing in your own?I spend a lot of time writing, but only some of it gets posted. ( ... )
