An interesting article about how unused fleece from alpacas is being used to help clean up the oil spill in the gulf. Scarves I can knock out, but endless rows of stockinette make me batty.

Also, thanks on the sweater. I'm hoping to finish it soonish and focus on a lace stole I'm doing and possibly the new sweater with the yarn.

It's Malabrigo which is Merino wool. It's pretty much the softest stuff around. Not cheap (at all) but yummy to work with.

I really like their stuff. I want to do one of the vests/tanks they have.

I'm actually seriously pondering the February Lady now and do some modifications on it. I've always hesitated on that one because of where the yoke hits on the boobs. I may shorten it a bit so the lace starts sooner.

The new vest is adorable but I don't think the pattern is out yet.

February Lady is cute, but as you say it really needs to be customized for everyone individually.
