Hey, I can't read TVTropes articles about certain methods of copy protection, or arcade game-over screens, or read the Let's Play of "Uplink: Hacker Elite" late at night. I daresay that's weirder than getting creeped by the Angels, which are nightmare fuel incarnate *shudder*.
And then there was the water softener in the house back in Grand Island that would suddenly start up at 3 AM, shaking the ground and making a noise somewhat between a jet taking off and those springy door-stopper things.
That was always scary because my room was in the basement, and I was often still awake or half-awake when it went off.
This Dr. Who sounds like something I could get into...So many people seem to like it! Are there British and American series'? And if so, which should I watch? c:
Nonono. It's strictly a Brit series. I suggest you start with the first Series of the revived Doctor Who. Buuuut. Skip forward to Series 5 with Matt Smith and you'll love it. Much more... fairytale? About as fairytale as sci-fi can get. Two words: Little children. Children, stories, legends and timey-wimey goodness feature prominently in Series 5. <33
So I shouldn't reply with a garden statuary icon? ;P I have a hard time watching The Angels no matter what o'clock it is. *hugs* Defffo don't do that again, silly! :) Unless of course...you like scaring the pants off yourself!
I thought I would be fine! It's been a while since watching ToA/FaS and Blink. I forgot how creepy the hand reaching into the airlock was. ;_; I couldn't look out the windows when going to bed and got spooked. Also, the snapping of necks scares the bejeebus out of me.
I don't enjoy scaring myself... having a over-active imagination does not lend itself to imagining good things. D:
*snugs* I'm never watching Who late at night again. Never, never-ever.
