I am not sure I have a favorite in particular, but I am rather fond of sweet things with spicy sauces drizzled on top. [That's because they remind her of Roswell.]

Would you prefer I call you Kagerou, Orihime, or Inoue? I do not mind which I call you, so long as you are happy with it.

I think he meant to ask you, Fred.

I see.

If 'dig' is the euphemism for 'finds attractive'... I must say no, not particularly. Scarring is simply a wound long healed over. Why one would find that attractive, I cannot imagine.

I suppose they lend a person a certain air of mystery and danger? All the romance novels in the bookshop seem to agree, at least.

...We have romance books in the bookstore?

Yes, we do! Right past the, um, adult section. They're kind of hidden in the back though. I'm not sure why.

Wait. Who puts the romance behind the smut?! Isn't it supposed to go in the reverse order? I would hope there would be some literary wooing before we jumped to Bell and Rick's fetish fuel.

... with Kagerou, this might actually be a valid concern weaver_girl October 22 2011, 21:57:20 UTC
Hmm, maybe I just approached them from the wrong direction, then. There is a lot of shelves and piles in the bookshop.

I may have to borrow one at some point, in that case.

Or buy? They're not very expensive. I take most of them back eventually. They're nice for when you don't feel like thinking much, I think.

Either or. And if I plan to return them later, that is a form of borrowing, I suppose. Though if I have to pay it is not really borrowing. [Pen taps]

Please excuse my rambling. I will certainly drop by the bookstore soon and see if I can find one or two that look interesting.

Oh. I'm sorry. I meant that I exchange them for other books. There aren't that many books here, and we don't always get a regular supply. It seems better to give someone else a chance to buy them, too, right?

Ah, I see! I do not visit it enough to be aware of that, I suppose. And yes, I quite agree. Better that the wealth of knowledge be shared with all than hoarded by a few.

We really should have a public library, but on the other hand I wouldn't want to rob Mr. Book of his livelihood.

I am not entirely sure we have enough books to make up a whole library; we do not have enough to allow us to have both structures. This way is best, I think, and likely enough people could get free books from the various Wildernesses that no one is complaining.
