Fatal Thirsk accident on the Mad Mile

Deeply saddened to hear of a fatal accident just outside Thirsk. The 90 year old driver who died at the scene overtook the hay wagon & is understood to have collided Headon with a car coming in the opposite direction. The mother airlifted with one son to the hospital, her other son taken by ambulance. My postman was one of the first through the
