Even my father was astounded at the total conviction that the guy will find my home. Even those who know the gatehouses always follow the road down to where it splits off. Once they see civilasation in one direction, they cheerfully head off that way.... only to be taking themselves a mile away from me when they'd got as close as three quarters of a mile! Time till tell but if he's here tomorrow on time without getting lost then he's a very lucky man :-D
