A slight catch up post from when I was offline thanks to no broadband, again. My parents took me to Ripon market which is very big (well for here anyway!) but I ended up with some huge bargains in Woolworths. I got a heavy winter duvet with two free pillows which was £29.99, with their usual half price deal but then it had another 20% off it so it ( Read more... )

What's even better is that it holds my current cross stitch projects just within reach of my favourite place on the sofa and the stereo controls are right at my side, and with books and a radiator just behind it it's absolutely perfect :)

Oh my goodness, I'm so sorry, I knew there was something I'd forgotten! Email on its way shortly :)

It feels like its always been here and is slowly filling up with witchy and nature items already, which just feel so right for it. I can't see me ever parting with it, even if in the future it has to go in a bedroom as the equivalent of a chest of drawers it's never going to leave my home, where ever that home may be :)

Its bloody fantastic ! Now I;m fantasising about having something like that in my kitchen ! I;m no furny expert but at a guess I would say 50's.

Just catching up so also wanted to say I am so so so pleased about your visit to the hospital, so pleased that all your hard work trying to get all the research together paid off and that you are getting listened to and some respect and results at long last.

Oh and forgot to say, even if you just go there 3 or 4 times a year or so, might be worth signing up for the bon marche card - its not a credit card, just a membership card where you get the odd newsletter etc but they do have some good members only offers sometimes - last time it was like 3 for 2 on knickers, lol, and buy one get one free on certain tops.

Thanks for that, I'll look into it. I'd always assumed it was a credit card type thingy that Bon Marche offered which I'm not interested in.

One problem with my dream for the kitchen is that I need a BIG kitchen for it! The kitchen is to me the heart of the home, and I'd love an Aga style range too, but oil powered so no carrying of fuel required, nor emptying of hot, mucky ashes either. I don't want much really do i?!

Oh yes and a highly shaggable gardener/handy man too ;-P

Oh that is my babe indeed. The top one is her to a 't', except my cutlery drawer is on the other side! She has lovely knobs on her *smirk* but each join is covered by a gorgeously shaped wooden peg, I don't why that seller wasn't going to post it out though ;-) But two grand for the other one!!! I much prefer mine anyway :D
