He knew the color of Calixto’s favorite car, the way the steps of his right foot always made a louder sound on the ground than the ones with his left foot did and the smell of his favorite brand of cigarettes.
this really sticks out to me, the attention to detail - the things that makes this fic so sensory.

the scene/flashback was just so power, especially as an insight to cristiano's (and wayne's) character(s). i was a little disappointed with wayne but blown away by cris. he's really not meant for this so i wonder why he's still doing it. then accompanied with the current situation on the train, i really loved how you tied it all together. wayne's demeanor in this is a little surprising.

(for some reason when we were introduced to pedro i automatically thought of pedro on barca. please forgive me :s)

Oh, it's safe to say that this flashback shows us a Cristiano of the past, a Cristiano who was new to the business. He might be lacking Wayne's calm, but that's only temporary.
In my mind, he's just as well born for this as Wayne is. ... Or he at least could be.

(also, NO, I'm talking about my little lion man right here. ... At the time I considered his appearance in this story, I was going through a really tough Carvalho/Leon lack of fic suffering, therefore I decided to throw them into the mix here to at least numb the withdrawal symptoms...)
